You can not print to lightburn, like we do to RE. I have a new found appreciation for RetinaEngrave We recently got an OMTech 24x40, 100W, with lightburn. As there are others who have done this, they would be able to assist in setting up the parameters to get software to communicate with the board you choose. LightBurn IMHO appears to be the best bet. You will have to use different software as FSL software will only work with FSL boards. I know I have seen posts where that conversion has been successfully done, might even be one here on this forum.Īs far as cost goes.sorry no clue but I feel not having to purchase stepper drivers and additional power supplies should be cheaper. Try searching FSL or Full Spectrum over there. (actually right below this post.)Īs far as the Cohesion, your best bet is to jump over to the LightBurn forum ( ) and search posts as I recall seeing others doing that swap. I think there is a post where someone has recently done that. You would have to add them, which also means adding additional power supplies. The Rudia won't work with a hobby machine as the hobby does not have stepper motor drivers.
